Roshan Ekanayake
Founder / Director
Roshan Ekanayake is a results-driven Accounting and Finance Professional with over 13 years of experience in financial and management accounting, taxation, internal controls, risk management, and business process improvement. His career spans Audit experience with a global Big Four firm, U.S.-based CPA services, and leadership roles across Sri Lankan and international organizations. He also brings specialist expertise in Australian mortgage brokerage underwriting, providing tailored lending solutions for individuals, businesses, and other legal entities. Roshan is highly skilled in accounting and bookkeeping, budgeting, financial reporting, audit management, regulatory compliance, and finance system optimization, with a strong commitment to delivering practical, client-focused financial solutions. He holds an MBA in Operations and Finance from Cardiff Metropolitan University and a BSc (Hons) in Accountancy & Finance from Southampton Solent University. He is a Member of AAT Sri Lanka (MAAT), an Associate Member (ACPM) of the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka, and is currently pursuing ACCA qualifications.

Dinuka Gamhewage
Co-Founder / Director
Dinuka Gamhewage brings over two decades of senior finance and banking expertise to BizWay, with a distinguished career spanning Sri Lanka's most prominent financial institutions. He currently serves as Head of Taxation & Payments at Nations Trust Bank PLC — Sri Lanka's fourth-largest private bank and sole issuer and acquirer of American Express cards — where he leads tax governance, vendor payments, fixed asset management, and IFRS 16 lease compliance, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Nations Trust Bank, Dinuka served as Deputy Head of Finance at the Colombo Stock Exchange, where he oversaw financial reporting and regulatory compliance at the apex of Sri Lanka's capital markets infrastructure. His earlier career at Sampath Bank, spanning over fourteen years, provided a robust foundation across banking finance operations. Dinuka holds a portfolio of internationally recognised professional qualifications, including member of Chartered Global Management Accountant(ACMA/CGMA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Fellow member of CPA Australia (FCPA), and an MBA holder from Cardiff Metropolitan University UK. He is currently pursuing, the CFA Charter, Finance Risk Management (FRM) professional reflecting a sustained commitment to technical excellence at the intersection of finance and risk. At BizWay, Dinuka advises on cross-border taxation structuring, financial governance frameworks, financial controls and regulatory compliance for offshore business clients — drawing on deep institutional knowledge of banking operations, tax statutes, and international financial reporting standards.

Ruchira Weerasinghe
Information Technology Strategist
Ruchira Weerasinghe is an accomplished Information Technology professional with extensive experience in enterprise infrastructure, hospitality technology, cloud computing, and digital transformation. Throughout his career, he has successfully designed, implemented, and managed technology solutions that improve operational efficiency, optimise business processes, and support sustainable business growth across multiple industries. With a strong background in enterprise IT management, Ruchira has led numerous large-scale technology initiatives, including infrastructure modernisation, network architecture, cloud migration, ELV system integration, business continuity planning, and digital transformation projects. His expertise extends across Microsoft technologies, Linux server administration, virtualisation, enterprise networking, web hosting, cloud services, hotel technology platforms, and custom software development. Beyond enterprise technology, Ruchira is a technology entrepreneur with a passion for developing innovative digital solutions that address real business challenges. He has played a key role in building managed IT services, web hosting platforms, hospitality-focused digital products, QR-based customer engagement systems, captive portal solutions, and business automation applications that help organisations streamline operations and enhance customer experiences. Recognised for combining strategic thinking with practical technical expertise, Ruchira works closely with businesses to align technology investments with organisational objectives while maintaining high standards of reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency. His multidisciplinary knowledge enables him to bridge the gap between business strategy and technology implementation, delivering solutions that are both technically sound and commercially effective. Ruchira's areas of expertise include enterprise infrastructure, cloud computing, IT governance, systems integration, hospitality technology, web technologies, business automation, digital transformation, and technology consulting. Sumedha Damayanthi Aththanayake
Head of Legal Compliance
Sumedha Damayanthi Aththanayake is an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka with eight years of professional experience in legal practice. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Peradeniya. Her areas of practice include notarial services, civil law, and criminal law. Throughout her career, she has provided comprehensive legal advice and representation to a diverse clientele, demonstrating a strong commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client-focused legal solutions. With extensive experience in handling civil disputes, criminal proceedings, and notarial work, Ms. Aththanayake is dedicated to delivering practical, effective, and reliable legal services while upholding the highest standards of the legal profession.
Shiran Harsha Widanapathirana
Head of Corporate & Secretarial Services
Shiran Harsha Widanapathirana is a Senior Lecturer in Law with over ten years of experience in higher education, teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate law students. He is currently reading for a PhD at the Faculty of Graduate Studies, University of Colombo, with a research focus on Intellectual Property Law. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Peradeniya and a Master of Laws (LLM) from Cardiff Metropolitan University. His areas of expertise include Intellectual Property Law, corporate law, and company secretarial practice. In addition to his academic career, he is engaged in company secretarial work, advising on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and related legal matters. Mr. Widanapathirana combines academic excellence with practical legal experience, enabling him to provide insightful legal advice and effective solutions to both corporate and individual clients. He is committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism while contributing to legal education, research, and practice.
